Spire Investigations was established in San Antonio, Texas in 2017 by Marcas Smith. Mr. Smith has investigated cases and assisted attorneys and clients with a wide variety of legal issues; both civil and criminal. Prior to founding Spire Investigations Mr. Smith worked in the legal industry as a private investigator with another company; as a civil litigation paralegal/investigator in private law firms and as a litigation services/support manager.
He has worked in the insurance industry in all lines claims, commercial underwriting and as a Local Recording Agent; in the private security sector as a uniformed unarmed/armed security officer, plain-clothes armed personal protection officer, instructor and in Special Emergency Response Teams. Mr. Smith has local, statewide, national and international investigative experience. Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a ABA approved graduate level paralegal certificate from Texas State University.
